GoatBeam records product analytics via PostHog Cloud when configured (page and trail views, map engagement, Effort views, search, feedback funnel steps). We do not capture precise location, raw feedback message bodies in analytics, or session replay by default. Structured feedback posts to GoatBeam’s API and stores type, message, optional reply email, path, optional trail context, viewport class, theme, and coarse app version in Neon Postgres. Optional reply email is used only if you want a response; you may also email hello@goatbeam.com. Admin sign-in uses Clerk plus a server-side allowlist; there is no consumer signup. Third-party map and Street View services may be contacted when those features are used.
